Born on June 4, 1983, Dr. Mehdi Salman Pour holds Dominican nationality and currently resides in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Mehdi Salman Pour was a very famous skater and champion in almost all in-line skating disciplines such as Aggressive in-line skating, speed skating, in-line hockey, figure skating, Ice skating, slalom and freestyle skating, football skating, marathon racing, extreme sports, etc.

Mehdi Salman Pour was the only young professional skater who became a coach at a very young age
(13 years old). He founded and introduced his teaching method with the title (HOW TO SKITE).
Mehdi Salman Pour published his first in-line skate training book at the age of 16.

Mehdi Salman Pour has been teaching skating officially for beginner and intermediate skaters on
various national televisions.
•Olympic Indoor Games
Mehdi Salman Pour won the first place in the national championship and participated as the
captain of the national aggressive skating team of Iran in the Asian Olympics Indoor Games in Thailand 2005 and the
Asian Olympics Indoor Games in Macao China 2007. Mehdi Salman Pour in both Asian Games elected as the top 10
best skaters in Asia were announced.

Mehdi Salman Pour was the only representative of the Middle East (UAE) who are invited in the
Mega Ramp World Championship in France. He won his second world title in the 16m mega ramp in France.

Dr. Mehdi Salman Pour, President of the Federation International Football Skating (FIFS), innovated the official Ball Size 5.5, first introduced during the successful 15th Football Skating World Cup 2024 in Trabzon, Turkey. A new version is in development for the 16th World Cup in 2026.
Senegal hosted for the official Football.
Dakar, Senegal, recently hosted the inaugural Africa Football Skating Cup, a landmark event under the Fédération Internationale de Football Skating’s guidance. The tournament saw 18 countries compete at Dakar’s Marius N’Diaye Stadium from September 17 to 21. Senegal emerged victorious, defeating Guinea 9-1 in the final, while Gambia claimed third place. This historic event was officially recognized as the largest Football Skating World Cup ever organized—from the sport’s inception in 1882 through to 2024.
- Looking ahead, Dr. Salman Pour will preside over the 16th Senior and 15th Junior Football Skating World Cup in 2026.
